Case Study: The British & Irish Lions | Sponsors Conference
Objectives
- To deliver the British & Irish Lions Sponsors conference for the Australia 2013 Tour. This conference was a unique event which the Lions hosted to bring all their sponsors and stake holders together to interact, communicate and share information
Implementation
- LSM sourced a premium but relaxed conference venue and worked with The Lions to deliver the conference format
- Through their role as The Lions sponsorship management team LSM brought together all the stakeholders presentations including video and audio to deliver a polished and professional final product
- The room was dressed with subtle branding using lighting and the big screen as well as The Lions official print material; each guest also received a bespoke Lions branded cupcake
- The day began with breakfast on arrival and post conference a late lunch was served with all guests having the opportunity to sample the wines of one of the British and Irish Lions 2013 sponsors
Evaluation & results
- Important information and Tour timelines were shared with The Lions sponsor family
- The delegates were all engaged with the discussions and embraced the opportunity to meet and mingle with their peers
- The Lions were thrilled with the venue, format and professional execution of the event
- The final presentation produced from 12 different contributors ran seamlessly and to time
- The feedback from all the delegates was that the day was of premium quality and represented the brand and its sponsors
