EMC Computer Systems (UK) Limited today announced that it has signed a three-year agreement which will see the company sponsor Scottish Rugby's Autumn Tests until 2013. The 2010 series will kick off on 13 November with Scotland vs. New Zealand.

Logan Sports Marketing worked very closely with the EMC Senior Management team to ensure that the partnership could deliver the key objectives for EMC in the UK and that for every pound invested there were demonstrable returns for the business.

Dan Zaltzman, Director of Logan Sports Marketing is delighted with partnership. "We have a very strong relationship with EMC and a true understanding of what the brand wants to achieve in the UK. This has allowed us to be able to find a partnership opportunity which addresses their needs in an important market".

Speaking at the contract signing, Ross Fraser, EMC's Country Manager for Scotland & Ireland, said: "EMC is proud to support the Autumn Tests, and we are delighted to be working with Scottish Rugby to promote what we expect will be some exciting and historic sporting occasions over the next three years.

"As an organisation we can relate to the tenacity, commitment and sporting behaviour that we all associate with the Scottish rugby team and its illustrious southern hemisphere rivals - they are the same qualities that EMC strives to bring to its customers in the business world. This partnership also underscores our long-term commitment to the Scottish market, and to developing our already strong ties with our local customers and communities," concluded Fraser.

EMC has been growing its business in Scotland for the last decade, with a team headquartered at its Livingston office. It is also currently the title sponsor of the English Aviva Premiership rugby union side London Wasps.

The 2010 EMC Autumn Tests will take place at Murrayfield Stadium on 13 November and 20 November, and at Pittodrie Stadium, Aberdeen, on 27 November. Following the opening game against the All Blacks, Scotland will host world champions South Africa and, lastly, Samoa.
